Belarus Transfers Four MiG-29 Fighter Jets to Serbia

The Belarusian government has transferred four MiG-29 fighter jets to Serbia as part of a military-technical cooperation between the two countries.

“During a visit, a solemn ceremony of transferring four MiG-29 planes to the Serbian Ministry of Defense took place, in which the leadership of the Belarusian Defense Ministry and the Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko took part,” Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus said in a statement Monday.

A Serbian military delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, Alexander Vulin, arrived in the Republic of Belarus.

Negotiations were also held with the head of the Serbian defense ministry, during which the parties discussed the state of bilateral military-technical cooperation, the statement read.
