Russia’s arms export agency, Rosoboronexport plans to hardsell Russian weapons and security solutions at the Eighth Moscow Conference on International Security (MCIS 2019) to be held at the Patriot Park outside the capital between April 23-25, 2019.
“Our agenda includes meetings and talks with military delegations at the level of ministers of defence, their deputies and chiefs of defence from over 30 countries. We plan to discuss the current and future joint projects in the field of military-technical cooperation, to hear our partners’ opinions on security challenges in regional and global dimensions and finally update our marketing plans,” said Rosoboronexport’s Director General Alexander Mikheev.
The forum attendants will get to see a full-scale specimen of the latest “200th” series of the Kalashnikov assault rifles, developed and produced by the similarly-name corporation, grenade launchers and rounds to them from the JSC SPA “Bazalt”, combat suits from JSC “TSNIITOCHMASH,” Rosoboronexport said in a statement Tuesday.
Besides, the NtechLab, a Rostec’s company, demonstrates at Rosoboronexport’s exhibit a unique solution, based on the FindFace face-recognition systems and oriented for the use by armed forces, special operations units and law-enforcement agencies.
The Moscow Conference on International Security has been held since 2012, and since then has become one of the leading world fora to discuss the most acute problems of global and regional security.
The conference of the year 2019 will focus on the issues of security in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America, expansion of military cooperation and global security.
