Thales Acquires AI-based Psibernetix Company
Air Force Colonel Gene Lee in simulated combat against ALPHA

French company Thales Group has acquired an Artificial Intelligence-based firm Psibernetix, the company announced Thursday.

Psibernetix has developed aerial combat application named ALPHA based on AI for simulated air combat.

Through a machine-learning algorithmic process called Genetic Fuzzy Trees custom built by Psibernetix, AI decisions are able to be mathematically verified and validated through a unique constraintbreaking approach that applies fuzzy logic-based AI to large-scale problems. This process also creates AI applications that can be placed on edge processing devices and be extremely resilient to digital noise, environmental uncertainties, and randomness.
