BAE To Provide Electronic Warfare Services For Saudi Planes

BAE Systems has been awarded $19.2 million for sustainment services associated with digital electronics warfare systems and missile warning systems for aircraft belonging to Saudi Arabia.

“BAE Systems has been awarded $19.2 million  for sustainment services associated with the AN/ALQ-239 Digital Electronics Warfare Systems (DEWS) and AN/AAR-57A(V) Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) hardware/software,” the US Department of Defense said in a statement Monday.

This contract provides for the repair and return indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity in support of DEWS/CMWS line replaceable units and line replaceable modules, the statement said.

Work is expected to be completed by August 13, 2022.
