Lockheed Wins $353M F-35 Helmet Mounted Displays Contract

Lockheed Martin has won a $352.7 million modification to an existing contract which is now made to include the sale of helmet mounted displays for the F-35 lightning II program.

“This modification increases the ceiling and scope of the contract to include the procurement of Lot 12-14 Generation 3 helmet mounted displays in support of the F-35 Lightning II program,” the US Department of Defense said in a statement Monday.

Work is expected to be completed in December 2020.
