Israel Aerospace will soon flight test a Boeing 767-600 luxury jet designed to fly heads of state non-stop between the Americas and the Far East.
The unique aircraft that took 3 years to develop, will be equipped with advanced communication and defensive systems in keeping with the mission of flying presidents and prime ministers. The jet will soon make its first test flight.
Boeing767-300 airplane was converted into the new airplane in with “great secrecy” at a cost of over NIS 700 million (around $200 million), Globes reported Thursday.
"The new heads of state plane contains sophisticated systems designed, manufactured, and assembled at Israel Aerospacce to enable it to serve heads of state in the coming decades," the company said.
