Hungary Takes Delivery of First 2 Airbus H145Ms

Airbus has delivered the first two of twenty H145M military helicopters to the Hungarian Defence Forces.

The order for the aircraft equipped with the HForce weapon management was placed in June 2018 by the Hungarian Ministry of Defence as part of its military modernisation programme Zrinyi 2026.

The H145Ms of the Hungarian fleet are equipped with a fast roping system, high-performance camera, dual cargo hook, hoist, disaster management kit, ballistic protection as well as an electronic countermeasures system to support the most demanding operational requirements, the company said in a statement Monday.

The HForce allows Hungary to equip and operate their aircraft with a large set of ballistic or guided air-to-ground and air-to-air weapons.

Additionally, Hungary has placed an order for 16 H225M multi-purpose helicopters equipped with HForce.
