US Army Awards Raytheon $551M for Bahraini Patriot Missile System

The US Army awarded Raytheon $551 million to commence production of Patriot air and missile defense system for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The contract was awarded on January 31, 2020, the company said in a statement Monday.

Patriot provides protection against a full range of advanced threats, including aircraft, tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
