Lockheed Martin’s Sikorsky has won a contract valued $525.4 million for work on Lot 44 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters for the US Army.
“Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, was awarded a $525.4 million contract modification to exercise an option for the Army MY IX Program Year 4, Lot 44, requirement of 38 UH-60M Army aircraft, and to exercise an option for two UH-60M FMS green aircraft,” the US Department of Defense said in a statement Tuesday.
The deal modifies a $3.7 billion contract, issued in 2017, for production of Black Hawk helicopters for Saudi Arabia through the Pentagon’s foreign military sales (FMS) program.
