An explosives-laden Humvee armored personnel carrier allegedly owned by Taliban went off prematurely in Afghanistan’s Badghis province on Tuesday, killing four member of the group.
The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (Humvee) was planned to be used in an attack against the Afghan forces in Bala Murghab district, Khaama Press reported citing Special Operations Corps.
The Taliban has not commented regarding the incident so far.
In late January, the Taliban claimed shooting down a US Bombardier E-11A in Eastern Afghanistan.
