Russia to Convert Parachute Factories into Face Mask Plants

Russia's Technodinamika parachute manufacturing company will start producing thousands of protective masks and suits to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

“At present, three plants are in the process of reorienting their sewing shops to produce personal protective equipment. The holding is ready to bring the production volume of products to one million masks per month with a subsequent increase, ”the company said in a statement.

“It will not affect the fulfillment of state orders and other obligations to the holding's partners,” said Igor Nasenkov, General Director of Technodinamika Holding.
