Pakistan Navy Tests anti-ship Missiles from Surface, Air Platforms

Pakistan Navy test fired a variety of anti-ship missiles in the North Arabian Sea on Saturday from ships, fixed wing and rotary wing platforms.

This "successful demonstration of a missile firing is testament to the Pakistan Navy's operational capability and military readiness," the navy said in a statement.

A video from the Pakistan Navy shows that a series of missiles were launched from a warship, multi-role helicopter and an aircraft which hit the target (an old destroyer of British origin). The video showed the target hit multiple times from missiles.

The Pakistan navy has a variety of anti-ship missile including the  Zarb a subsonic surface anti-ship cruise missile, the Harbah, is a short-range subsonic cruise missile that can be launched from land or underwater seaborne platforms and the YJ-83 Chinese-made subsonic anti-ship cruise missile.
