The Indo-Defence Exhibition, an important event in the World Defence trade calendar scheduled for November 2020 has been postponed to April 7-10 2021.
“After closely monitoring the risk and impact of COVID-19 on a daily basis and further consideration with key community members and partners, the most important thing is the health and safety of all of us,” a communication sent to exhibitors today said.
“Ministry of defence (of Indonesia) as a host has taken a difficult decision to postpone the ninth Indo Defence 2020 Expo & Forum besides other concurrent events at the Jakarta International Expo to 7-10 April 2021.”
With Indonesia still in the grip of the virus Pandemic, holding of the exhibition may have been impractical and difficult for exhibitors to reach Jakarta in view of limited flight options.
