Turkish Shipyard Launches “Al Doha” for Qatar
Turkey’s Anadolu Shipyard launched Al Doha, the first of two Cadet Training Ships for the Qatari Navy today.
The ships were ordered by Doha at DIMDEX-2018. They will be used to train 72 naval cadets.
The ship is 90 meters long, has 1.950 tonnes of full load displacement and maximum speed of 22 knots at full load. The vessel is armed by 30mm Stabilized Gun and 2 12.7mm Machine Guns.
