India Gifts Trained Military Horses, Mine Detection Dogs to Bangladesh

The Indian Army gifted 20 trained military horses and 10 mine detection dogs to its neighbour Bangladesh on Tuesday.

“Indian Army gifted 20 military horses and 10 dogs trained on mine detection by Remount and Veterinary Corps (RVC) to Bangladesh Army delegation at Petrapole-Benapole Integrated Check Post on the India - Bangladesh Border,” the Army said in a statement.

India Gifts Trained Military Horses, Mine Detection Dogs to Bangladesh

The Army has also trained Bangladesh Army personnel for training and handling these specialist equines and canines. The dogs are effective in detection of mines and contraband items.
