The U.S. military has asked Lockheed Martin to support over a hundred F-35 fighter aircraft for $903.6 million.
This modification procures long lead materials, parts, components and support necessary to maintain on-time production and delivery of 133 Lot 16 F-35 aircraft for the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, non-U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) participants and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
Work is expected to be completed in May 2026.
