Israeli firm SMART SHOOTER to Display "One Shot – One Hit" Capability at IDEX 2021

Israel’s SMART SHOOTER said it will present its SMASH 2000 Plus Fire Control System and SMASH Hopper Light Remote-Controlled Weapon Station (LRCWS) at the IDEX 2021 exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

SMASH Fire Control Systems have been acquired by the Indian Navy. The Dutch and British armies are currently evaluating the systems. The scope has also been reportedly tested by the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force and also special operations units, besides Australian troops.

SMASH is a Fire Control solution that ensures each round finds its target. With a unique One Shot – One Hit; capability, SMASH allows the operator to quickly and effectively neutralize any ground or airborne target, manned or unmanned.

SMASH “smart” rifle scope can be fitted on any type of rifle. The kit can turn every soldier into a sharpshooter by using computer image processing that locks on to targets and never misses.

The SMASH smart scope works by finding targets automatically and placing red squares around them. The soldier presses the trigger and holds it until the system releases a bullet within a millisecond. The scope calculates several factors including distance, angles, the target's direction and speed, plus the wind direction before firing a bullet.
