U.S. Navy Taps Lockheed Martin for Submarine Electronic Warfare Equipment

The U.S. Navy today awarded Lockheed Martin a contract to develop submarine electronic warfare (EW) equipment.

This $11.7 million contract covers design, prototyping, and qualification testing of submarine EW equipment. Work is expected to be completed by February 2022.

The company won another contract valued $31.5 million for system production and associated components in support of all new-construction and in-service class submarines.
