At least 40 Rescued of 92 Onboard Crashed Philippines C-130J Aircraft

A Philippine Air Force C-130J carrying 92 people onboard crashed on Sunday, with 17 people confirmed dead and the remaining being currently rescued.

As per reports, 40 people have been rescued until now.

The aircraft crashed while attempting to land on Holo Island in Sulu province. Pictures showed flames and smoke pouring from wreckage of the aircraft among trees at Patikul in Sulu province, where the army has long fought Islamist insurgents.
