Boeing Wins $1.6B to Repair ICBM Missile Guidance Set
Unarmed Minuteman III ICBM launch @U.S. DoD

The U.S. Air Force awarded Boeing $1.6 billion to repair the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) missile guidance set.

“The Boeing Co., Newark, Ohio, has been awarded a $1,620,707,490 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for missile guidance repair. This contract will repair the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) missile guidance set,” the U.S. Department of Defense said in a statement today.

Work will be performed in Newark, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 27, 2039.
