An Indian Air Force (IAF) Mi-17 helicopter crash landed in northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday morning.

All five crew members including two pilots are safe, Indian media reported. The incident reportedly took place when the helicopter was carrying out an air maintenance sortie.

The IAF is yet to confirm the incident.

In October 2019, another Mi-17 of the IAF had made an emergency landing in Mandya, Karnataka state.
