Boeing won $93.4 million bilateral requirements contract for the Royal Saudi Air Force F-15SA Original Equipment Manufacturer Training Program.

This modification adds an 18-month ordering period to the multi-year basic contract and involves 100% Foreign Military Sales to Saudi Arabia, a U.S. DoD release today said.

Work will be performed at King Khalid Air Base, Khamis Mushayt; King Faisal Air Base, Tabuk; and King Abdul Aziz Air Base, Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2023.

Saudi Arabia’s F-15SA Advanced Eagle includes Raytheon’s APG-63(V)3 AESA radar, fly-by-wire control systems and two additional underwing weapons stations. It features upgraded avionics, more powerful engines, and the BAE Systems Digital Electronic Warfare System/Common Missile Warning System (DEWS/CMWS).

The first of the kingdom’s 152 new and remanufactured F-15SA aircraft arrived at King Khalid Air Base in December 2016.
