CAE USA has won $47 million to develop CF-18 training system for Canada, as per a U.S. DoD release issued today.

This contract provides for the design, development, integration, installation, and testing of the CF-18 Advanced Distributed Combat Training System (ADCTS) — Phase Three, Hornet Extension Project upgrades for the government of Canada.

Work is expected to be completed in April 2027.

CAE says it has leveraged its U.S. Navy F/A-18 aircraft simulator expertise to support the training system for the Royal Canadian Air Force’s CF-18 ADCTS program.
