Orbit gets secure audio communication contract from Asian country (likely India)
Orbit Technology Group has signed an agreement with the Air Force of an Asian country for supplying of a system that manages all on-board audio systems with an internet protocol-based interface. Chief executive of Israel-based Orbit, Avi Cohen said, “The order for Orbit's audio management solution over IP (AMSIP) "signifies our entry into a larger, more substantial strategic market, and we look forward with confidence to additional contracts”. The AMSIP system allows the flightcrew to select and control digitally from a range of audio communications functions, including radios, public address, intercom and warning systems.
