Two Ukrainian Su-25 Jets Shot Down During Dogfight: Russia

Ukrainian Su-25 fighters were shot down by Russian ones during a dogfight, Russian defense ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov has claimed.

"In the area of ​​​​the settlement of Novobratskoye, Kherson region, as a result of an air battle, a Russian fighter shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force," Konashenkov said at a regular press briefing today.

On Monday, the spokesman said a Russian jet shot down Ukraine’s Su-25 during an air battle in the Yasnaya Polyana region of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

As per Konashenkov, since the beginning of the special military operation on February 24: 231 aircraft, 134 helicopters, 1,451 unmanned aerial vehicles, 353 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,910 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 716 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 3,092 field artillery guns and mortars, and also 4016 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
