The Chinese government has donated 107 vehicles and military equipment to Cambodia.
Cambodia’s defense ministry took delivery of the Chinese equipment this morning at the Phnom Chum Reak Reach Military Police training centre, located in Samaki Meanchey district, Kampong Chhnang.
Deputy Prime Minister Tea Banh, who is also the country’s defense minister, said that the military equipment and vehicles provided by China are for national service in the various units under the ministry. He stated that all grants provided by the Chinese side to the Cambodian army is a testament to the strengthening of relations between the Cambodian and Chinese armies.
