Romania Selects Rafael's Communications System for its Naval Ships
SEACOM communication systems @RAFAEL

Romania’s Ministry of Defense has chosen communications solution developed by Israeli firm RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems for its naval ships.

The company did not reveal which ships will be equipped with RAFAEL systems, or the value of the contract.

SEA-COM system provides IP-based Naval Ships and Submarines communication suite. Sea-Com fully integrates internal communication (voice, data, video) and external communications systems (HF, V/UHF and Satcom).

Sea-Com handles all Naval voice communications, external and internal, using a VoIP/RoIP solution. It converges different types of communication devices into a single system and operator terminal. It includes a powerful, built-in conference bridge that supports multiple simultaneous voice sessions for each operator and an unlimited number of internal and external radio conferences.

The SEA-COM also acts as a naval communication manager, and records all voice, data and video sessions on board.
