Russia’s state space agency Roscosmos said it carried out 100 consecutive successful launches of space launch vehicles since October 2018.
In an official press release Thursday, Roscosmos said 46 launches were made from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, 36 from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, nine each from the Vostochny Cosmodrome and from the Guiana Space Center.
Among them are 82 launches of carrier rockets of the Soyuz family (36 Soyuz-2.1b, 27 Soyuz-2.1a, five Soyuz-FG, Soyuz-ST-B and Soyuz-2.1v ", four Soyuz-ST-A"), 11 launches of Proton-M carrier rockets, four launches of carrier rockets of the Angara family (two Angara-A5 and Angara-1.2 each), three launches "Rokot" carrier rockets.
In June 2021, Russia set a national record of 60 successful launches in a row, which continues to be updated to the present. The previous achievement was 59 successful launches in a row, which were carried out from February 1992 to March 1993.
