South Korea's Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said prototypes of the homegrown KF-21 Boramae fighter jet have conducted their first nighttime flights.
The third and fourth prototypes of the KF-21 conducted the test flights, the state arms procurement agency said.
The first prototype of the model took to the skies for the first time in July 2022; while the maiden flight of the twin-seat prototype took place on Feb. 20 of this year.
DAPA has a plan for a total of more than 2,000 test flights of the KF-21 model by early 2026.
