The United States has offered Slovakia its AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters to replace its MiG-29 fighters being transferred to the Kiev regime.

“Twelve new Bell AH-1Z Viper helicopters with equipment, training for pilots and technicians, and more than 500 AGM-114 Hellfire II missiles are the proposal of the U.S. government,”Slovak defense minister Jaroslav Nad wrote on Facebook today.

Nad said the offer was worth $1 billion. "We were the first to receive this extremely advantageous offer. If we don't take them, they will go to another country," he said.

The minister added that Slovakia would pay around $340 million over a period of three to four years.

Slovakia decommissioned its 11 MiG-29s on Sept. 1, 2022. Ukraine will be getting 10 of these aircraft, with the last one going to a museum. Ukraine could fly these MiG jets as they are, or use components from them on its own jets, depending on the condition of the donated aircraft.
