Kremlin Admits Its Su-34 Jet Dropped Bombs on Russian City, Belgorod

The Russian MoD on Friday admitted that its Su-34 fighter jet dropped bombs over the city of Belgorod which close to the Ukrainian Border.
A vaguely worded statement from the MoD said, "The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation explained the incident by an abnormal gathering of aviation ammunition near the Su-34 VKS aircraft during a flight over Belgorod."
"April 20, 2023, at about 22:15 Moscow time, during the flight of the Su-34 aircraft of the Aerospace Forces over the city of Belgorod, an abnormal descent of aviation ammunition occurred," a MoD statement said.
It became known about an explosion in the center of Belgorod and a crater formed with a radius of 20 meters. Destruction was recorded in the apartments of house number 15 on Shalandina Street, six cars were damaged.

"As a result, there are damages to residential buildings, there are no casualties," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov on Saturday evening announced the liquidation of an explosive object found in the center of Belgorod.
"The destruction of the explosive object has been carried out," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
In the morning, an explosive object was found near house number 15 on Shalandina Street in Belgorod. In this regard, it was decided to evacuate 17 apartment buildings within a radius of 200.
