Indian Navy's Vikramaditya, Vikrant Showcase Combined Carrier Operations in Indian Oceans

The Indian Navy conducted an exercise in the Arabian Sea with INS Vikramaditya and the indigenously built INS Vikrant as the center of attraction.

The exercise involved Aircraft Carriers INS Vikramaditya and INS Vikrant- along with a diverse fleet of ships, submarines and aircraft.

The exercise included the coordinated deployment of more than 35 aircraft .The two aircraft carriers functioned as a launch platform for a wide array of aircraft, including MiG-29K fighter jets, MH60R, Kamov, Sea King, Chetak and ALH helicopters.
