The Parliament of Denmark (Folketing) has approved a fresh package of military assistance to Ukraine for 2023-2028, totaling €2.95 billion ($3.21 billion).
Oleksii Reznikov, Ukrainian defense minister, confirmed it on Twitter June 20.
“Great news from Copenhagen: the Folketing approved another package of military assistance to Ukraine worth €2.95 billion for 2023 -2028,” Reznikov wrote.
Denmark has agreed to even transfer F-16 combat jets to Ukraine after it receives the go-ahead from the United States.
The multibillion dollar aid will be delivered through a Ukraine fund Denmark set up in March.
