Russia’s Rosoboronexport signed contracts worth $600 million with several foreign customers at the Army 2023 event in Moscow.
It reached agreements on the joint production of Kalashnikov assault rifles, armored vehicles, guided missiles on the territory of customers, besides the installation of Russia-made combat modules of various calibers on the chassis of (land vehicles) of our partners, said Alexander Mikheev, CEO of Rosoboronexport in a statement.
Rosoboronexport told its foreign partners that its equipment is being upgraded based on the results of combat use in the special military operation zone (Ukraine war).
Military and civil delegations from more than 30 countries, discussed the development of bilateral military-technical cooperation, he said.
In 2023, Rosoboronexport presented reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, an artillery unit reconnaissance and control system based on the Tablet-A complex and the 1B75E sound-thermal complex, as well as artillery weapons - the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer and the 2S31 Vena self-propelled artillery gun. A layered anti-UAV system based on air defense systems and electronic warfare systems is also shown.
Shown for first time was the Cape camouflage which successfully hides armored vehicles from optical and thermal imaging equipment in combat conditions.
Besides Russian firms, country pavilions of China, Iran and India were seen at the Army 2023 exposition.
