U.S. Marines Killed in Osprey Crash in Australia

A tragic incident unfolded on Sunday, wherein a contingent of three U.S. Marines lost their lives following the crash of an Osprey aircraft transporting a complement of 23 personnel.

The MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft crashed on Melville Island, north of Darwin, while supporting Exercise Predators Run 2023.

Five Marines were transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
