Damen launches OPV 2600 Vessel for Pakistan Navy

Damen Shipyards Galati in Romania launched PNS Hunain, one of a series of Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV) 2600 that Damen is constructing for the Pakistan Navy.

Damen was awarded the contract to build the vessel, following its successful delivery of the first two vessels, PNS Yarmook and PNS Tabuk in 2020.

The Damen Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) 2600 is approximately 85 meters long with a top speed of around 22 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. It accommodates a crew of 60 to 70 personnel, has various armament options, and features integrated navigation and surveillance systems, as well as helicopter facilities.
