International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) has secured a contract worth $39 million for the modernization of the Egyptian Air Force Integrated Logistics System.
Work is anticipated to be completed by June 5, 2029.
The agreement, facilitated through foreign military sales to Egypt, is set to revolutionize the Egyptian Air Force's logistics and supply chain management system. The project aims to establish a fully integrated maintenance management and supply chain management system capable of supporting various critical functions, including maintenance, repair, overhaul, operations, enterprise resource planning, forecasting, analytics, material management, and contracting operations.
Work under this contract will be conducted both in Bethesda, Maryland, as well as in Egypt.
