Russia Intercepted 37 Ukrainain Aircraft, Six ATACMS Missiles in a Month: Shoigu

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that in the past month, Russian air defense systems thwarted multiple threats, destroying a total of 37 Ukrainian aircraft and six U.S.-made ATACMS tactical missiles.

During a conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces, Minister Shoigu highlighted the performance of the air defense crews. He added that over the past month, they have destroyed over 1,400 enemy air attack weapons.

Shoigu emphasized the significance of this achievement by comparing it to Ukraine's expected aircraft supply, saying, "37 aircraft is almost twice the number that is guaranteed to be supplied to Ukraine for F-16 aircraft. That is, with our air defense system operating this way, this is approximately 20 days of work."
