Tactical Missiles Corporation (TMC) Russia’s guided weapons manufacturer is displaying its latest air-to-air and stealth missiles at the Dubai Airshow 2023.
The new aircraft weapons include - the RVV-BD (long-range) and RVV-MD2 (short-range) air-to-air guided missiles, as well as the new generation multifunctional stealth high-precision missile, Kh-69.
The Kh-69 missile is designed to destroy a wide range of stationary ground targets. The missile can be paired with stealth fighters such as the Su-57 as well as Su and MiG fighters.
The square cross-section design of the X-69 ensures its placement on the external and internal hard-points of aircraft-carriers. After launch the missile is almost invulnerable along the flight path. The launch range is up to 290 km.
The RVV-MD2 air-to-air missile is a modification of the well-known RVV-MD model and is designed for close-in, highly maneuverable air combat. The launch range has increased by up to 50 km over the RVV-MD. The new missile has became heavier by 11 kg (117 versus 106 kg).
The dimensions allow the product to be used from the intra-fuselage suspensions. The missile has increased noise immunity and is completely digital. These and other innovations made it possible to increase the probability of hitting a fighter-type air target.
The RVV-BD long-range guided missile is designed to destroy almost any air targets. The launch range is up to 200 km, warhead weight is 60 kg. The RVV-BD has been tested to hit an aircraft moving at a speed of up to 2.5 K km/h at an altitude of 15 m to 25 km. The probability of destroying an enemy fighter is 80%.
