A Russian Su-25M almost got shot by rockets released by a Grad MLRS in a freak case of friendly fire in Ukraine.

A video circulating on Telegram shows the low-flying Su-25 ground attack aircraft fly over a BM 9K51 Grad MLRS just at the time when two rockets are released one after another. Two more rockets leave the launcher after the fighter moves away from the frame.

Comments on “Russian Weapons,” a telegram handle said: “We have before us the result of the lack of full aggregation of each unit  in the operational zone into a single automated control system of the tactical level.”

As a result, “the Su-25SM3 pilot almost crossed the elevation sector of the fire work of the Grad MLRS, which could have resulted in critical consequences.”

The incident has not been commented upon by the Russian MoD and not reported in Russian media. The veracity of the video could not be verified.
