EDGE to Supply 200 Unmanned Helicopters to the U.A.E. MoD

EDGE has finalized a contract with the UAE Ministry of Defence for the procurement of 200 HT-100 and HT-750 unmanned helicopters.

This deal stands as the largest-ever order for unmanned helicopter systems, intended to augment the UAE's capabilities in Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR), and logistics missions.

Manufactured by ANAVIA, a Switzerland-based entity under EDGE, the unmanned helicopters are designed to enhance vertical take-off & landing (VTOL) capabilities. The HT-100 and HT-750 models, with multi-role functionalities, are aimed at maintaining flight stability while transporting heavy payloads.

EDGE acquired a 52% majority shareholding in ANAVIA in November 2023. ANAVIA's capabilities in developing and manufacturing unmanned helicopters complement EDGE's portfolio in air, land, and maritime capabilities.
