This partnership aims to enhance the Army's night fighting capability by developing night vision solutions compatible with both current and future soldier systems. The agreement outlines the development of several key products for the Finnish Defence Forces, including next-generation night vision goggles based on M20 technology, featuring improved ergonomics and a new helmet mount; tactical thermal binoculars utilizing uncooled thermal camera technology and tailored software solutions; and a next-generation multipurpose fire control system employing smart sight technology for various weapon platforms, including support and anti-tank weapon systems.

This initiative not only aims to bolster the Finnish Defence Forces' operational capabilities but also allows for potential collaboration with other countries in the development of these night vision devices.
