John Cockerill to Modernize BV-206 Vehicles for Ukrainian Army Medical Missions

John Cockerill has been commissioned to adapt and supply BV-206 vehicles to the Ukrainian Army.

This follows the modernization of several M113 vehicles already delivered by the Belgian Ministry of Defense to the Ukrainian army to help it in its conflict with Russia.

The modernization process for the BV-206s will focus on upgrading the engines and other mechanical components, as well as reconfiguring the interiors to suit medical needs. These vehicles will be equipped with comprehensive medical kits and enhanced engines, transforming them into medical evacuation vehicles.

The BV-206 is already in use in Ukraine and is recognized for its capability to navigate complex terrains, making it ideally suited for evacuation missions involving wounded soldiers.
