Boeing to Collaborate with Antonov on Overhaul of Drones Used by Ukraine

Boeing and the Antonov Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore collaborative opportunities in defense projects, with a particular focus on drones.

The agreement aims to support the development of Ukraine's defense industry and economy.

Ted Colbert, CEO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security, expressed the company's commitment to working with Ukrainian industry, highlighting their recent participation in the Ukrainian Defense Industry Compact. "This agreement demonstrates our ongoing efforts to find more opportunities to work with Ukrainian industry," Colbert stated.

The potential areas of collaboration include training, logistical support, and overhaul services for tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs) used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, such as the ScanEagle. Additionally, the agreement opens possibilities for Antonov to provide engineering support to Boeing.
