Pakistan Tests Improved Shaheen-II Ballistic Missile with 2000Km Range
Shaheen-ll (Hatf VI )

Pakistan today successfully test fired an improved variant of Shaheen-ll (Hatf VI ) nuclear capable ballistic missile with a range of 2000 KMs.

This test is part of Pakistan's efforts to maintain its strategic deterrence capabilities in the region,the Pakistan MoD said on X.

The launch was aimed at training troops, validating various technical parameters and performance evaluation of different sub-systems.

Shaheen-II Vs. Agni-P

The launch looks like an attempt to match India's Agni-P missile with a maximum range of 2000 km with enhanced accuracy. The missile was test fired in March this year.
