The U.S. Army and BAE Systems have finalized a contract modification worth over $440 million to produce additional Bradley Fighting Vehicles.
This contract involves the production of more than 200 A4 variants, intended to replace some of the Bradleys that the U.S. government has provided to Ukraine.
The Bradley A4 variant is a key asset in the Army’s Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) formations, offering enhanced battlefield capabilities for a range of combat scenarios. Designed with durability and commonality to reduce logistical complexity, the Bradley A4 includes digitized electronics to improve situational awareness, communication, and network connectivity within the ABCT. It also enhances soldier safety and operational effectiveness in various environments.
BAE Systems will carry out production and support for the Bradley A4 across several facilities, including locations in Aiken, South Carolina; Anniston, Alabama; Minneapolis, Minnesota; San Jose, California; Sterling Heights, Michigan; and York, Pennsylvania.
