Textron Systems Corporation and Kodiak Robotics have integrated the Kodiak Driver self-driving system into Textron's RIPSAW M3 vehicle.

This collaboration has resulted in a rugged and reliable uncrewed robotic ground vehicle designed to keep service members out of harm's way while executing complex military missions.

The RIPSAW M3 vehicle combines Kodiak's autonomy system with Textron Systems' tracked vehicle platform, enabling it to execute high-risk missions such as reconnaissance, surveillance, and tactical maneuvers across various terrain types.

The vehicle boasts 360-degree visibility, achieved through modular DefensePods integrated into each corner of the vehicle. These DefensePods provide complete visibility while maintaining a low profile, making the vehicle ideal for reconnaissance and surveillance missions.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with Advanced Autonomy feature which unlocks full off-road autonomy, allowing the vehicle to navigate complex terrain with ease, mimicking human-like driving capabilities.

Furthermore, the RIPSAW M3 vehicle features Assisted Autonomy, which combines autonomy with human-in-the-loop path planning. This enables soldiers to control the vehicle remotely when necessary, providing an added layer of flexibility and safety during mission-critical operations.
