Israel Signs Deal with Boeing to Procure 25 F-15 Jets Worth $5.2 Billion
Boeing signs deal with Israeli MoD for 25 F-15IA jets

The Israeli Ministry of Defense signed a Deal Wednesday with Boeing worth $5.2 Billion, on the procurement of at least 25 F-15IA Fighter Jets.

The Israeli MoD tweeted that the F-15s will be the Israeli Variant of the F-15EX “Eagle II” Multirole Strike Fighter. The Delivery of the First Squadron of Aircraft is expected to begin by 2031, in Batches of 4-6, with an Option included to eventually Increase the Order from 25 to 50.

The jets are being financed by US military aid to Israel and are part of larger package that includes various weapons and platforms.

The F-15IA aircraft are currently deployed in the bombing of Gaza and Lebanon and are used to carry heavy guided bombs and missiles.

The deal comes at a time when anti-war activists are calling for a halt to arms sales to Israel.
