Hundreds of drones, missiles, and guided aerial munitions have struck Ukraine over the past week, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The attacks, described by Zelenskyy as "Russian aerial terror," have included 500 guided aerial bombs, 660 strike drones, and 120 missiles of various types.
Zelenskyy stated, "No other country in the world has ever faced such attacks on a daily basis for such a long time. Yet, our state has stood firm." He added that Ukraine's air defense forces and mobile fire groups have worked tirelessly to protect civilians and military assets.
The president highlighted that over 30 strike drones were intercepted in a single night. The continuous aerial assaults are part of Russia's ongoing efforts to target Ukraine's infrastructure and military installations.
On 21 November, Russia used a variant of the hypersonic RS-26 missile, Rubezh, to strike a factory in Dnipro. Zelenskyy also indicated that Ukraine should seek NATO protection for its remaining territories to secure peace and stability in the region.
