Elbit Systems has secured a contract worth approximately $60 million to supply its Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) to a NATO member country in Europe.
The contract will span three years. Under the agreement, Elbit Systems will deliver its ReDrone modular Counter-UAS solution.
According to Elbit Systems, this system integrates technologies such as the DAiR radar, SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) sensors, Electronic Warfare (EW) countermeasures, and Electro-Optical (EO) day/night payloads to deliver a comprehensive aerial threat management system.
The ReDrone provides multi-layered protection against UAS threats. The system enables the rapid detection, identification, classification, location, tracking, neutralization, manipulation, and defeat of multiple threats simultaneously, in both urban and rural environments.
The system can be integrated with any architecture and can be installed on a variety of configurations – including mobile, stationary, portable, transportable or fixed. it also includes advanced C4I (Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence) capabilities, ensuring comprehensive mission management and efficient coordination of defense operations.
